I have the same year model that you do with the same motor and I did the same thing with mine but I used Magnalfows and its does sound like a real beast. true duals help A LOT!

Check out my video i have a 1991 chevy pickup, 5.7 with a supper 44. Stock cat and no headers. It branched into duals after the muffler check out my vid.

hey dude, i have a 90 chevy, and its got true dualed super 44's. if you want your truck to sound loud and mean, do a true dualed setup with super 44's. i took my cats out, and it sounds like a monster

any chance u could try the super 44's one day? see how they compare???
hey is that true duals, i got a 94 chevy pickup like yours, but im thinking about putting on a flowmaster super 44, what do you think

No...no duals. This is just 3 inch mandrel bent piping from the cat to the tail with one Super 40 flowmaster. I think your idea with the Super 44 is a great idea. I really want to try those out on my Mustang, they sound really good.
