A pretty boring video about flywheel resurfacing... Hey, what can you say about flywheels, slap'em on the machine, turn it on, stand back and watch the sparks. Another John Edwards educational video stream. www.engine-machining.com (949) 631-6376

  • how much to resurface a mitsubish lancer flywheel?

  • @coolguyvictor - I've stopped giving quotes via the internet, just call me - it will take less time then sitting here typing out a response to question. I hate this kind of personal action. Text - internet the both suck when it comes to discussing something.

  • Hi guys,

Anyone heard about 2 level resurfacing?

    I just don't get it >.<

Anyone can clarify this for me?

Putting aside the clutch, what else is spinning on the flywheel?

    Thanks

  • @thaik56 - One some flywheels the clutch cover doesn't set parallel or plat to the friction disc surface.

  • how much you are grinding 0.0015

  • @Shazee083 - .015", move your decimal point over to the right one more place.

  • thanks for the video

  • cool

  • NOT boring....thanks a lot John, these video's are great.

  • Why can i watch this over and over. its like therapy

  • @AxSxKxONE Cost me 60 USD equiv to get a 2 level grind done, I'd expect about 40 for a single level fly.

  • @thaik56 Take a look at a 3S-GTE flywheel for an example - many flywheels have the clutch bolted to a surface offset from the friction surface. In order to maintain the correct spring pressure from the pressure plate the bolt locations have to be skimmed down the same amount as the friction material. HTH

  • satisfied with the results? was that your flywheel or your the one with the machine ?
