If it's made for motorcycles than crash anywhere up to 200mph i'm sure it would withstand a go kart incident.

@BIGPHILBROWN I would go the EXO-700 for sure. The EXO-700 is a better helmet hands down

Just got my exo 700 in the anthracite today
Went riding and on the freeway when I am
Switching lanes and do a head check the shield comes up a little bit and when I turn my head back looking straight ahead it closes.
Is this normal?

thats a great price you paid delivered, it is a really good helmet, I am enjoying mine until I get new inserts for my Arai which cost more than I paid for the EXO700, the chin aero guard is a nice ad on for the helmet as well reduces noise further especially if you ever use a bike to bike communicator on trips

Between the 1000,500 and 700. which one is the best bang for the bucks
do they all fit the same?

@japaneseblade I just got my Scorpion EXO700 via bikebandit on closeout Memorial Day special, paid $96 plus 7.95 for the aero skirt. Extremely good deal. I measure 58cm and I chose to go with medium which is 57-58cm. I own an Arai RX7 Wraithe which is medium as well but the padding has packed down and needs to be replaced. I found the Scorpion to fit tight but I expect it will pack down a tad making it comfortable. If I were you I would go large not X large. Overall solid helmet

After researching many different helmets, I'm confident now that my choice in this helmet is well advised. I'm going for that super bright solid neon color.
I live in Sacramento, where our summers can reach 100+ easy. Our wet season, though it's not nearly as bad as other regions, makes the perfect conditions for fogging up. So, I need those vents, and the antifog. I've also read a lot of reviews saying "This feels like a $400 helmet."
Thanks!
which one do you recommend? 500, 700 or 1000?
do they all fit the same?

@cedrickgagnon Best bang for the buck will be the 700 as some graphics are on closeout in our store and cna be purchased for as little as $99. If you are looking for the best helmet of the three and the price is not the main issue I would give the nod to the 500 myself. The fit from the three is fairly consistent, not identical, still good for most riders out there. Most riders can get a good fit from any of the three helmets noted.

@japaneseblade If you are looking for a tight fit then go the large. If your preference is a more comfortable, roomy fit go for the X-Large
