"Over The Rainbow" is a song from the 2005 album, "Living a Dream", by Katherine Jenkins. The album was released on Universal Cassics and Jazz and topped the UK Classical Album Chart. The album peaked at #4 on the UK Albums Chart and is BPI certified platinum in sales in the UK.
"Over the Rainbow" (also known as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow) was written by Harold Arlen (music) and E.Y. Harburg (lyrics) for the 1939 motion picture "The Wizard of Oz". In the movie, the song is sung by Judy Garland.
This live performance of "Over the Rainbow" by Katherine Jenkins is from her 9 July 2006 concert at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. The concert, "Katherine Jenkins: Live at Llangollen", is available on DVD from Universal Classics and Jazz.
