In June we said goodbye to Oxted and I looked at possibilities for new layouts. I short-listed Uckfield, Berwick and Ore, and the latter was chosen for its nice variety of terminating and through trains, plus the carriage sidings would add further interest.
It, like Oxted was, is set in the late 1930s, Southern Railway Maunsell/Bullied transition period, just prior to electrification of the East Coastway.
So here it is! This is a photographic tour of the station, designed to give you some inspiration, and show what can be done with some time and a bit of cash.
Plenty of further inspiration available on other South-East railway stations at Kent Rail or the Southern Email group websites.
Feedback welcome and wanted...enjoy!
Looks excellent =D
