@newtonpippin i though t was a reference to chicago fire...."young little kindlewood see them burning"......dunno...it's just supposition.

Discussions on the Misfits Bible e-mail list about 15 years ago. Not all Misfits songs are about horror movies. "They all changed their names to Chicago" = The Chicago Seven
-
@newtonpippin Wow. Where'd you hear that? It's an interesting thought regardless, but I'm wondering.
-
@pandarsson I've heard that it's about the riots at the '68 Democratic National Convention.
-
what the fuck i love this fukin group

@AUSROTTENY2K Good thought, but this song came out three years before that movie. Plus, the Misfits at that time mainly wrote about older (as in, older even then) horror movies. A lot of the exploitation films especially, which is what I'm guessing (from the lyrics and the title) "Children in Heat" was. Could be wrong, but I can't find any references.
-
@pandarsson children of the corn maybe?
-
Anybody know what goddamn movie inspired this song? I'm almost certain there WAS one, but I can't find anything.
Honestly, I prefer this version.
