The owner of a gas station convenience store has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed the store and shot a clerk earlier this month.
The robbery and shooting occurred at about 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the AM/PM store at 2098 W. Redlands Blvd. The suspect, described as a black male in his early to mid 20s with a mustache and goatee, wearing a white hard hat, black hooded jacket and blue jeans, entered the store and waited for customers to leave before approaching the male clerk.
The robber displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register before shooting the clerk. He took the money from the register and fled the store.
The clerk was treated at a hospital and is currently recovering from his injuries.
Investigators believe the suspect may be linked to robberies in Bloomington and San Bernardino.
Police warn that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should contact police. Do not confront the suspect.
