Emanuel - Search and Destroy Cover

My first cover of a cover.

The original song was by The Stooges, and there are many other versions of it by many other bands, but I happen to like this one, so this is what you get.

In this version what's not present, or perhaps what I can't hear, are the little 'interludes' (for lack of a better word) that occur at "And I'm the world's forgotten boy", so I've added them back with my playing.

Once again, enjoy.

Didn't tab it, just learnt it.

Same with most of my other covers, Through the Fire and Flames included, I don't tab them, I just learn them.

Some people read tabs or notes as they play, other just memorize. I memorize.

Back when I played piano, I sucked at sight reading, so I learned all the pieces by watching someone else play, and then imitating.

For guitar, I don't watch anyone, I just work stuff out and remember.

I haven't played this song for so long, I've forgotten how :P.

Not really, I don't think.

I'd call tabbing the actual writing of guitar tabs, actually opening notepad, holding down the hyphen key for a long time, then replacing each hyphen or group of hyphens with corresponding guitar frets.

I've done it before, when friends need tabs for songs we like but they can't work out the song for themselves, or if internet tabs aren't accurate.

But naw, I wouldn't call just learning the song tabbing.
