Just let them text sheesh. Just let them fail the class, by the time they are at high school, they should know whats right and how important education is. If that took place in America which I believe it did, this teacher will get punishments and lawsuits if it was an expensive phone. :p

@aaronje12 Pay is based off performance in many states. Sometimes even your job hangs in the balance of how the students perform, so I don't think you would just let them do it. Not only that, students don't realize how much work many teachers put into their planning and trying to reach the kids. It's aggravating to put in an effort when your students don't want to even try.
