A slavery reparation is a stupid idea. Why give money to the Mexican who land was stolen or the Japanese people who were inprisoned in camps during WWII or California wildfire victims or Irish immigrant or etc. Lets move on PLEASE

@josecruzrg83 I couldnt disagree more, except with the idea that reparations are stupid, because they are. I disagree with the idea of just moving on, because slavery, jim crow laws, and blatant racism has more than contributed to blacks (and other minorities) in the country having to struggle with poverty. However, instead of reparations we need to hold job fairs, increase funding in education, and invest in awaring children in poor neighborhoods on the dangers of gangs, drugs, and violence.

History is history they got their freedoms now, but they also got something that many ppl want from around the world. AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP, that is their reparation.

People like this black guy who blame all their problems on a group of people, many of whom are worse off than him, based on what their dead ancestors did, rather than their real living enemies, the high earners and hoarders of wealth who oppose progressive tax, universal health and tertiary education, social safety nets, rehabilitation of criminals (mostly poor) & drug addicts, state efforts to raise employment, anything that would help the poor, instead he attacks the dead guy's descendants?
