    Was it the WHITE CANE?

  • My father, the late Samuel D. Burnett, was her 1st cousin, which makes her my 2nd cousin. I saw her as a child in Chicago in BLACK NATIVITY. Her mother was Viola Mcgee and her aunt was Marguerite Stewart Jackson, my fathr s mother.

    My grandmother was born with a visual impairment and lost her vision at the age of 19. She pasted in the 60's. You can find additional information on her (Music) from the Harold Washing Library in Chicago. Also, there is information under Langston Hughes play "Black Nativity". Thank you for your kind words!   • @GanonLives listen closely my brother and I wgere at that concert in the Netherlands and my late parents too,dad and mom died for a few years ago,but whe never had seen that kind of music only dady saw it as sailor on a large steamvessel called Nieuw Amsterdam that was sailing from Rotterdam to New York with passengers.Daddy travelled around and on a sunday morning he tought there was fighting entering a building he saw that he was in Church an folks cried and screamed Mercy and sang along,
