  • for me the trick was realizing that the feet essentially do the same thing...meaning both heels twist in or both twist out...or both toes point out or both point in. heels are in on the odd numbers, out on the evens.

  • I just recently took 2 lessons specifically to learn that style of Charleston. You're right about the feet doing the twist on their own, at first, I was having a hard time with it, and then it just became kind of easy (though it still requires a bit of concentration at all times). I'm getting a lot better at it, I even know both moves that you did in this vid.

  • @turgsh01 just move in half circles and your feet do the twisting on their own. it becomes unnatural to not twist a bit =)

  • that foot work at the beginning is something I always have a hard time with... it's the twisting... one foot goes one way while the other has a mind of it's own :(

    You made it look pro though, very nice.
