@Lexia01 1: Puberty strikes individualy regardless of where one lives. My family and I are swedish, no where near america, thus my experience is completely independent from american influence. Some people are simply early bloomers, and Ty Lee (for example) just happens to be one.

2: This is not set in a particular time or place, the world of 'Avatar' is a completely fictional dimension, and it's not actually ''back then'' or ''in asia''. It's merely been artistically inspired by Asian culture.

@MadmanRobz Yes, I'm aware of that. I just don't see the motives. These days puberty strikes a lot quicker & heavier.. & In America. But come on this is ANCIENT ASIA. Women in those days did not develope that early, plus not to be stereotypical Asian women in the ancient times did not eat the foods we ate these days so I just don't see how. & 2 This is a CHILDREN'S show...it's almost like they're trying to create sex appeal for young teen girls. Lol

@Lexia01 Lol. You do know that puberty hits everyone differently, right? When my sister was 12, she had MELONS almost twice the size of Ty Lee's. The ''maturity'' for the avatar girls aren't off at all, the main cast just appears to be early bloomers, and that's not unusual by any stretch of the word.

@TheJboy88 I was just thinking that watching this. Almost all the Avatar girls; excluding Toph, looks wayyyy too developed for their age. They have the bodies of 21 year old women & they're just young teens. When I was 14 my boobs were no where as big as Ty Lee's Lol.
