  • Hiding in Nazi-Austria,listening to forbidden BBC ( one could have be killed for doing so ! )-That was the sound - the song that opened the news - so I´ll never forget it.

It´s good to have escaped end to be still living.

  • Seems like only oldies have scratch static noise...without which it just isn't nostalgic enough. Got to have the scratch noise.

  • LOL I SUNG THIS SONG AT SCHOOL CUZ I WAS LEARNING ABOUT WW2

  • Good Stuff! It's nice that what came before rock 'n' roll is just as awesome, in it's own way! The static and sound of the singers reminds me of listening to oldies x-mas music a few years ago.

  • @steigmannkurt Are you from Austria? Were you living under Nazi rule? I'm teaching a course on the Holocaust. Would you be willing to speak with me? Also, have you seen the movie "Swing Kids." It deals with this very issue. It's outstanding...

  • this music is so good my dad got me hooked on it.

  • This should've been in Bioshock, Could you see this playing in a jukebox in Arcadia?

I mean the song reminds of the Big Sister Little Sister and Big Daddy Relation Triangle.

  • This track is splendid!

  • Can't beat a Classic!
