Benezir Bhutto was asassinated on 27 December 2008 by a young man in his twenties accompanied by a sucide bomber who blew himself up right after Bhutto was killed. Bhutto's widower Zardari accused the then-President Musharraf of having link with the asassination and denied that Taliban leader 'Bait-ullah-Mehsud' was behind the murder as the Musharraf government told media.But after the 2008 Election Zardari Government has started saying that Benezir was shot down by the Taliban and Bait-ullah-Mehsud
