Coleraine Northern Ireland

Not sure if Coleraine adopted me or I adopted it but I do know that I have loved this town since I first saw it from the back of a three tonner (Army vehicle) in 1971. Coming from Salford Manchester I think that I appreciate this land more than some of the locals do.

The song is Burl Ives (Girls Of Coleraine) from the album ( Songs of Ireland) release date 1958. I have found the LP that I took it from years ago, it was from my father in laws collection. Every lyrics site I have looked at has the lyrics for Kitty of Coleraine.

Sorry that may be wrong it refers to a song I have always known As Kitty of Coleraine. I have had this song in my mp3 collection for years but don't know where I got it from, but I am sure it is Burl Ives singing it..
