The projection crash is slightly thicker, I believe it is medium thin, whereas this is thin. The projection crash is slightly higher pitched and will have a slightly longer decay.

Honestly I like K zildjians better. But a zildjian has a different sound. So its all good!

@mrdrumstixx I used the 18 for my metal band, and that was the finest crash I've ever played! It sounds better live than in this video. It cuts through if you want to play an accent, and it blends beautifully if you play crash beats on it. I generally prefer 18" or bigger for my metal crashes, and this one is great! However, it does eventually break if you hit hard. Mine lasted for about two years. I now have the same cymbal, but medium. Not exactly the same, but still great! So I recommend 18"!

i just got this cymbal today. when i hit it softly i noticed that it sounded more "sizzly" then my other a custom crash. later i was playing for not even 3 minutes and i noticed that there were 5 cracks along the edge. i bought the cymbal brand new from big apple music store. any ideas of what couldve happened?

I have got one of these what will it work better with a 17" a custom or a custom rezo
