Secretary of Defense Fidel Ramos was inaugurated as the 12th president of the Philippines on June 30, 1992 at Quirino Grandstand, Manila. The oath of office was adminitered by Chief Justice Andres Narvasa.

  • Hoy, At least the man was the only president I believe that was not surrounded by controversy, drama, and corruption. Fidel and Cory are the only good president we have after the evil dictatorship of Marcos. Don't forget he is a soldier not an economist. Dyos Ko, ang paginsulto ninyo sa kanya don't make the nation any better. Instead of insulting the man try leaving a constructive criticism. You guys seem to be intelligent people. Why insult Fidel? Para kayong ang gago.

    look at the united states, an incredibly successful country because of it's conservative policies with deregulation and reducing costs.
