Hi guys,Im going to sharm in feb with my g`friend, what is it really like, i know i shouldnt but i stereotype it of people walkin the streets with machine guns, is there any of this?

i am going tomorow to egypt, only in big cities and than only at special places there is a problem. what is dangerous is the traffic, special taxi drivers, the are the terrorist,watch for them. fine holiday, frank from holland.

@rickvtr Don't worry it's not like that :)

You will barley feel anything related to the revolution @ Sharm ElShiekh, it's quite & peaceful. Only major cities like Cairo, Alex., Ismailia that having all the action. even though it's not like you said "People walkin the streets with machine guns".. I'm living in Cairo & believe me I never saw a machine gun my whole life except in movies :)

& yes u may take Frank's advice, beware of Taxi Drivers, they r money suckers :D
