Boroondara City Council's new Backyard Biodiversity project provides a chance for residents to explore and help protect the local environment. Residents link in with local Friend's Groups and also develop their gardens with locally native and wildlife attracting plants to create habitat links across the suburbs. The first project group, comprising residents living close to Back Creek biodiversity corridor in Lynden Ward, Camberwell, feature in this video. The Backyard Biodiversity project is managed by the Environment and Sustainable Living Department.
