Maria Lewis and Drew Phillis are student activists suspended from NYU for participating in the recent takeover of a student building at New York University.
The biggest blunder in this whole debacle is that the students really do have a say in how the university is run. They CHOOSE to attend NYU. If you don't like the way this university spends your money, refuses to disclose their books, and ignores student senate votes then attend another university. When their enrollment drops, they'll have to reconsider the way they do business.
Great, now explain to me what "law" they were disobeying? The freedom for private business to operate without bending over for extremely dumb and myopic students?
Why are folks so rattled, Well, I'll tell why, Money makes the world go 'round trust me, that's no lie. You touched their silver dollar You didn't take it though; however, they have bills to pay, & business has been slow. Next time you plan a protest Be sure to have plan "B," I hope it rhymes with Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper & Pepsi. I think these guys who run the show Are probably afraid; Endowments getting lower, They thought they had it made
"Do you think they'll give you more money to fix that freaky nose?" ahahaha
Fuck hippies.

I love it how people love to judge so quickly.
NYU housing is far more expensive (nearly twice the amount) than someone's "own apartment".

not fascism, civil disobedience.
if a law is unjust, we shouldn't be obligated to follow it.
