  • BEAST!!!!!!

  • For the guy who said he'd like to shake Rathman's hand, I was lucky enough to know him personally as he was my college room mate of two years best friend when they played on the Huskers together. I haven't talked to him since 1986 when he was drafted, but in college he was at our house all the time and I just laugh when I listen to him talk on these old videos, because he looks and sounds exactly like I remember him when sitting next to him on the couch drinking beers. What a cool guy!!

  • Rathman was a great blocker and a good utility fullback. Roger Craig got most of the offense from the backfield.

  • I miss this guys style of playing and even though he is older, he is now the running back and full back coach for the 9ers....so awesome. I would love to meet him and shake his hand and say THANK YOU for your inspiration to me as a young player.....LOVE THIS GUY!

  • Hes coaching FRANK now 1:06

  • One word: HERO!

  • damn he trucked that dude @ :11 and nice cut block @ 2:13 lol. "We know were the best team! We just gotta go out and prove it today! We gotta play hard! Play within your limits! lets go out and kick their ass!!!" Such a BEAST!!!

  • When the 49ERS were GREAT: He just RAN you over; the most underrated 49ER during their GREAT ERA!!!

  • As a niner fan, I'd like to thank Nebraska for Tom Rathman and Roger Craig. Sidenote: Rathman got fined by the NFL after a game for wearing a "No Fear" decal on his helmet...awesome.

  • @cbrhawk: how can you expect him to "shine"? He was a fullback. They don't run the ball very often and they sure aren't supposed to score much. Look at him in these clips, flattening people...catching passes. The dude was a beast. Offensive linemen don't "shine" or get their names called very often either...but they make the hall of fame.
