@Xamarth1 Neither do I, but the older times were different, hence why the middle east is so barbaric. That said, I believe that if you follow the guidelines of Christianity along with those of modern society, then there would be nothing wrong with that.

@TheCabinRacoon Okay. I don't want to start a pointless religious internet argument but I'll give you an example of each... Deuteronomy 13:6-10 says that if you have friends or family that say you should not worship the biblical god or worship a different god then you should kill them. As for the perfection issue... why would a perfect being be a jealous being or need to create humanity to worship it or create people he knows will defy his will... illogical.

@TheCabinRacoon Well the first thing that comes to mind is that it just isn't logical - like the whole premise of a perfect god. There are also other questionable moral issues like using fear as a conversion tool or the way the bible advocates some very violent and uncivilized ways of behaving with other people in society.

Fuck all religion. I love learning about ancient cultures but religion is nothing but poison and once the moderates stop cherry picking it, they'll see why we keep talking shit about it. Actually, they're moderates for the same reason we talk shit about it; it's fucking stupid and dangerous.
