This is the second time-lapse recording of me working on Vela Pax MAP01, entitled "Excella". I recently posted the January recording, which was the first recording I attempted while mapping. After the first recording that I did, which went pretty well, I figured I'd do another one. By the way, just like the first video, the sped-up recording may give some of you out there headaches or motion sickness. Just a heads-up!
By this point in the map, I'm still hovering around 50% done. As with the January recording, I'm working on the south-eastern part of the map. Unfortunately most of the work I did when I recorded this was delegated to detailing and not so much layout creation. However, towards the end of my recording, I do work on some areas on the northern part of the map. So that change in scenery is kinda nice, I guess. I had a hard time coming up with bits for the southern area of the map so I spent quite a lot of time working in that area. I only made two recordings of me working on MAP01. And, to date, I haven't made any other recordings.
This map in particular has been finished for a few months now. Vela Pax is planned to have 6 large maps, each with their own slightly differing theme and difficulty. So far I've completed 3 of the 6 maps and I'm currently working on MAP04, entitled "Faxanadu". I haven't decided if I'll attempt more recordings or not yet. But I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to watch regardless!
