The electronic beats sound a lot like the Smiths song "What difference dose it make" witch came out in 1984.

One of the worst remixes ever. there were alot od bad ones in the 80's. I think it originated in the 70's with "disco" mixes of rock and pop songs, but things got thinner and tinyier and tinnier and really bad in the 80's. Sometimes you catch one of these mixes in an old 80's movie, and it doesn't seem real, it's like a spoof of a mix, a parody of a mix. Fun to throw on impromtu at a party or bar, it gets people moving. Irony frees people up.

This is the best version, I think! I got it from TLATEOTT and when I finally bought 'Phantasmagoria' the album one was nowhere near as good!
