Sauerbraten: The Open Source FPS

Also known as "Cube 2," Sauerbraten is an open-source First Person Shooter game (freely available from sauerbraten.org).

The game has a super easy to use level editor that allows you to construct your own maps with little effort. Everything is sculpted out of varying sized cubes, which can be cut into other shapes for more complex structures.

I whipped this trailer up over the last week to stir up some interest in the game, which I've been playing for the last month or two.

Lol i dont know but i think that is me shooting at 0:21, i remember shooting a guy running around on a hill on that very same map sometime in june. Can you prove me right/wrong? I play sauerbraten as Hellow.

I captured that particular bit of gameplay on a LAN match, so I would say it wasn't you. :D But plenty of people run around up there on that map, so likely you did shoot *someone* there once. It could have been me even... (I play as TheWall.)

And it just got better a couple weeks after I posted this. The new CTF edition is a lot better than the Assassin edition, which is the one I used when I made the video.

@epsilonjackalONYT I agree. However, the thing about the new weapons was a placement or something upgrade for the hudgun/vwep system that the old guns weren't compatible with.

damn the crossbow looks way better than the rifle..... infact allthe guns looked better befor cube 2 went team fortress 2 style on the players
