No, they're planning something. Okay, so from a song that is surprisingly sweet and has a sweet meaning underneath it all to a song that absolutely has no meaning. I -- because riddle me this. How do you miss someone like candy? Seriously, if someone could answer that for me. I mean, I like sugar and candy just as much as the next person, but really, do you equate that to misssing some -- like 'I miss you like candy'.

Band: What if you never got to eat Candy again? Yes?

Mandy: I don't know.

Band: What if you're diabetic or something?

Mandy: I didn't even understand it at 14. I was like *unintelligable*. So, uh, we're doing this for you. And I, uh, unconsciously or consciously have told myself I don't remember the words, really. Mandy was under contract and had to record what the label wanted her to, she HATES every album she did before "Coverage", which was her first album under a real artist driven record deal, so she refuses to sing the older songs, with the exception of this

her new record "Amanda Leigh" is amazing and showcases what a true artist and writer she is, she was never meant to be a pop starlett. she's too damn good

and she's right, catchy or not, "Candy" is a stupid song. great melody. dumb lyrics
