@jiminycurls No, he's not a god, he's just an amazing lyricist/singer with powerful vocals. And people like you immortalizing him is exactly what he doesn't want (which is part of the reason why he doesn't like to stand out front during shows). Respect the band, not Maynard; he's only 1/4 of Tool.

I think the group hug at the end, shows how pwerfull these guys are together and with each other, the reason that they have lasted 20 years playing together, and bring what they bring on stage and in the studio! This my childern is the best band of our generation,and probally ever to grace us in this universe!
