Alexis and Alana are monoamniotic twins born January 25th 2009 at 27 weeks gestation. They spent 122 and 125 days in the NICU respectively. This is their journey in a way words couldn't describe.

Thank you so much for sharing!! I've been on bed rest now for 3 weeks and 5 days with our twin momo boys. I'm at 31 weeks 6 days gestation now, and they plan to deliver me on the 14th if all goes as planned. I will be 32 weeks and 5 days at that point! Your video really is amazing! Your nicu story is truly inspiring. This has been such a scary experience for us and to see how beautiful and well your girls are doing is very relieving. I cannot wait for my boys to get here!! :)

Thanks Michelle! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. Our girls are almost 3 years old now (time flies) and they're doing great! They still have their challenges (mostly with speech and eating), but they're very healthy and we fully expect they'll catch up to their peers eventually.

My pleasure. Our girls are 19 months old now and though they have their challenges (Alana is still struggling to walk) they are so adorable and so much fun to be around.
