The ultimate dish in the Philippines is BALUT!
Super delicious... However, one thing I hate balut though, is the effect... It gives you HYPERTENSION!! But boy It's good!!

Anthony Bourdain sucks on eating this eggs. It's good, I like it. There are a lot of white guys that could eat much more exotic food than this guy, see on youtube. what a wimp A.B.

The fluid in the egg, Isn't it a mix of amniotic fluid, urine, other bodily fluids of the fetal bird?

Okayy...I have definitely tried both, and yeah, it's the same dish. Some Vietnamese prefer to eat it a couple days more fertilized, but that affects the texture of the bird, not the taste. I never eat the bird anyway...I like the broth and the yellow part. I still stick to what I said earlier, since my Vietnamese AND Filipino friends all agree that it's the same food. :)
