I will have to agree with Meagan on this one. It seems that you (Carlos) don't seem to grasp the unique experience of Latinos that were born and raised in the US. Just bc you think that speaking Spanglish is the ghettoization of Hispanic/Latino culture doesn't mean that it is. Spanglish is a unique and common way of commuicating with peers and family. Spanglish isn't even using slang. It's using two separate languages and combining them into one.

Also, you did very little to explain yourself. You seemed more concerned with getting your camera time than actually trying to understand the situtation at hand. Understand that while yes, the indigenous roots are a very important part of the Hispanic/Latino culture, it is NOT the only part.
