Hi..

Whats the connection withe the "Koryu karate, of genbukan of tanemura sensei"??? He claims that in Koryu karate theres this 2 schools:

Kijin Chosui Ryu Dakenjutsu and Tenshin Koryu Kenpo

Well, this is not really "Koryu Karate" and neither are those you mention. Ueno Takashi is the link here- he was a Shito Ryu Karate shihan among other things, he created the Tenshin Koryu Kempo syllabus (Which was once called Shinto Tenshin Ryu). Chosui Ryu is what Takamatsu "Chosui" created; Ueno was friends with Takamatsu and they exchanged information, the school "Chosui Ryu" was blended into Ueno's Tenshin Koryu Kempo syllabus.

I have been interested into Koryu for a while... it is a big shame that there are almost no schools where I live.

This school is not a koryu bujutsu though....it just has "koryu" in the name. :)

Tenshin Koryu Kempo is a modern martial art (gendai) but it has a lot of "old school" influence- so it looks deceptively like Koryu Bujutsu at times.
