  • I want your dog!! She is sooo cute! I have 3 Chi's. Their the best lil' cuddlers! My sister is a groomer and does my dogs glands for me, but I need to learn for myself- she can't always get to them when they need it. Thanks for the vid. BTW, to all you haters out there, it is very expensive to take ur dog to the vet to get this done. Especially when u have more than one dog. Lighten up.

  • @dianne2061 Thanks! I love the support!

  • WORSE THAN 2 GIRLS 1 CUP!

  • @Unf0rgotton I've never seen that video, and don't want to! The difference here is that this is required for your dog's health and comfort.

  • i am about to do this to my dog right now, ugh wish me luck...

  • @LivingwPCOS GOOD LUCK! how'd it turn out? don't worry if you aren't successful the first time, it takes practice for you AND your dog. You'll get it!

  • thats not shit its blood !!!!!!

  • Is the anal gland in the same spot for both male and females? I have a miniatured Terrier/Chihuahua mix and she is going to the vet on Monday for her second round of puppy shots. She does drag her but on the carpet a little bit, not alot but I think I should let the vet know and she can guide me/show me how to manage this. I would hate to hurt my puppy but not doing it right or it being that she doesn't need it done. Any advice? Thanks!

  • Is this what happens usually? Cause i don't know when my puppy is gonna get it.....:-((

  • Your cat was clearly not impressed.

  • I never knew you had to do this for your pets. I have 3 Chihuahuas and my youngest Bella had this scary looking bump just below to the bottom right of her anus. I googled and youtubed and found out it was a swollen anal gland. This happened last nite. So around 3 or 4 maybe even 5 this morning it popped. Didn't hurt her no yelping nothing. I have been keeping it clean and keeping an eye on it and making sure she does not lick it. This video did help and thank you for posting it! Advice?

  • my goodness, it did not look so bad when you did it. i just about puked, my dog did not appreciate it. the worst part is that i did not expect it to shoot at me, gross!

  • Goodness my Chi's so active I cant keep him still T_T

  • great just barfed all over my computer and no she does not feel better she wants to kill her self.
