if it is over the 30 days , however i have had companies resend the letter as i just tell them i never got any letter from them and beingthat they dont use certified mail they cant prove it. so i had them resend the 30 day letter ( yes i actually said send me the 30 day letter so my credit repair person ( i lied) can open a folder for the account) to a po or mail box and they have to act as if ....

Predatory Private Debt Collecting agencies do try to capitalize on the ignorance of debtors they try to collect money from. Before considering giving one cent to these guys, ALWAYS exercise your right in requesting that debt collectors validate a debt.

Thanks, HarveyRex23! The issue with demanding validation is that if the alleged debtor is outside the 30 day validation period mandated under FDCPA, the collector has ZERO obligation to validate. Validation is over rated...I'm sad to say.
