  • what instument is that??...it's slightly distinct from a guitar in my opinion, is it??..

what is the precise name for the instrument?

  • it's a classical guitar, but some prefer to call it a "classic guitar".

  • lyrics...

    Kahinhinan niya'y tanging kayamanan.

  • Wow...love her voice. bravo. nice LULAY. thanks also to the accompaniment.

  • awesome!

  • Beautiful voice and wonderful playing!

  • i need an instrumental of this song.. can someone send me a download link? or send me the song?

  • To copy6642126. I tried to get the essence of the ilocano tune, but you know, music is very abstract and music is music and not a told story - but please, I don't have the lyrics of this song, maybe you could help me to the essence, I really would appreciate that. But if you try, you will see that it is not easy to put words into music (I don't mean add lyrics to a piece, however).

  • @tasteism No offense taken on your unsupported opinion, let's rejoice that these music is available for everyone to enjoy! Cheers!

  • @tasteism Filipinos are very proud of these little things--however worldly quality their music or not, it's OUR [Filipino] music. It's just a matter of time as far as elevating it and if it's not going to be around for another 100 years, why do yo know about it to begin with? Thank you for playing Filipino music, your renditions are not so bad either but be careful not to loose the essence of the songs just as you did with the Ilocano tune.

  • @tasteism Hello. Not sure who you are referring to but as far as my opinion is concerned, Filipino music is at this point such as this, is one of those hidden jewels. There's a little bit of honesty on your comment--Filipinos are not like the Chinese and the Koreans and other Asian countries who completely embrace this art and very visible in the international arena.

  • My friend, you have not the slightest notion of the musical quality of the world if you think the Philippinos could elevate it. I myself play phil. music, and there are wonderful pieces among them (listen to my rendition of Lulay and Tiayat Ti Meysa Ti Ubing) - so i'm not up to hurt Philippinos but, the Philippinos have to work on their music making for the next hundred years to get at world quality, if they ever get there. No hard feelings!

  • can someone post the lyrics of the song? Pleeease :) Thank you.

  • she makes it look easy
