Miami Beach Memorial Day Shooting May 30th 2011, cellphone video

Images of last week's fatal police shooting in Miami Beach have been released.
Here you see footage recorded on a cell phone by Narces Benoit.
The police are surrounding a car driven by Raymond Herisse. Then they started firing at the 22-year-old.
Herisse was killed, three officers and four bystanders were injured.
Benoit and his girlfriend, Ericka Davis, are accusing authorities of destroying evidence and intimidation.
They say the only reason this video is still around because they were able to hide a memory card before authorities smashed the phone that captured this incident.
They have hired a lawyer, saying they "want the right thing to be done."

@MrAntdogggy Well, we can't really see what is going on inside the car in this video. It was pretty dark and I'm pretty sure the car had tints. Perhaps the suspect did reach for a weapon or at least appeared to be reaching for something. I can't really say. All I can say is that this video really isn't good enough proof of anything.

@chomskyfunnybone I was there the day after that shit went down. I've been to South Beach a bunch of times at night. Never seen anything like this though. Can't really say I know what went down that night.

That video never showed the man they shot in a threatening way at all and there is no proof he was threatening them. If all the police need to do is claim they felt threatened to shoot somebody then sure enough one day we will all be dead.
