Short video of the Sea King Rescue 128 helicopter and the onboard SAR communication system heard using my scanner on 449.5375 MHz FM during a training exercise.

Its for the winchman when he is on the line so that he can communicate with the crew when he is on the ground.

this is in-flight comms between the crew so why the reason for being re-transmitted? and who is freq authorised to?

I heard these last night, quite strong aswell. They were also on 156.000, 5,9+

I picked these guys up one day by pure accident doing a limit search of 449 - 450
they were on a S&R job in my area,
