Mel Stride delivers a petition, calling for more high-visibility policing on the streets of Exminster, a Devon village, to number 10 Downing Street.
He took the petition, signed by around 700 Exminster residents, to the Government on Tuesday, November 27th.
Mel launched the campaign in the summer in response to growing concerns within the local community over the perceived increase in anti-social behaviour.
Dear Mr Stride,
Good work. If you can keep this up, i think u will definitely get a vote at the next election. I (perhaps boring), sat through Angela Browning MP on BBC Plmt. (the Budget Response; very funny btw!!(if you haven't seen it then i suggest u do!) and i think that the Tiverton and Honiton seat is a safe Conservative seat. Not that i necessarily accept the Tories, but, you are doing more than any other to help Crediton, Tiverton, and the like..ive not seen a labour prospective

Hi Darren
Thanks for your message on my you tube site. Appreciated your positive comments. I'll continue to do the best I can for Crediton and Central Devon. Look out for another couple of videos in the next week or so (one on my green one tonne challenge at exminster primary school and the other a community action day clearing the banks of the ockment river in okehampton).
Thanks for getting in touch all best Mel
