John Landecker joined Ric Federighi and the AM 1420 WIMS team live at Captain Ed's in front of hundreds of listeners to sign t-shirts and give away prizes. One question posed to Mr. Landecker was how music was selected on WLS in the 70's. John Landecker took some time to explain why songs were selected, the reasons why so few local bands made the radio and told the story of how he introduced Styx to the world in 1974. It's behind the scenes details of the last great AM music station with John Records Landecker

  • Hey, gang, anybody else think that the Big 89 could make a comeback as a '70s & '80s pop station? I sure do! Not a fan of talk radio. It's always the same topics all the time, right, gang? God bless!

  • Rush you did a great job!!!!!
