August 9 Oklahoma City Ward Redistricting Public Meeting

Oklahoma City's eight ward boundaries are being redrawn. The changes are a result of redistricting, which is required every decade following the census to rebalance the population in each ward. A public meeting was held in the City Council Chamber on August 9th for residents to review and provide input on the proposed ward map. The new boundaries are slated for final hearing on August 30 and are expected to take effect September 30.
