One of the best looking 5 turbo I see. immaculate and near standard.

Since selling my 5 Turbo at 22 I went down the jap route, 300-400 BHP, but nothing ever captured my imagination or made me smile as much as my little renault.

I'm going to buy another and go back to my roots. Mine was red like this, but I have to say this is stunning example.

i had a black 1989 on a g reg in 1990 7k on clock,wish i still had it,nothing could touch it of the mark 125mph tops.rst little faster on straights,escort cossie blitzed the lot......but prefer these oldschool hothatch's to these modern jap bollocks i.e.scooby,evo, anyday even if not as fast....they just dont have the charactor to match these

Top car - had a 1988 model for ten years, got rid of it in 2000. Used to breakdown all the time but still loved it. Huge mistake getting rid of it, modern hot hatches can not compete (and I've) owned a few. This one looks lovely, keep looking after it and never sell or you will regret it!

i owned a reno blue sport gt 5 turbo and i sold her and bought a volvo 480turbo!I regret it soo bad.I want my gt 5 turbo back!

@lalagabor I agree with what you are saying, i had 2 Gtt's. Dont go back to your roots, my friend wasted thousands doing this and he didnt get quite the same feeling as when he was 18. They have problem after problem, my friends got stuck in gear and wouldnt come out! strange but these silly things happen with these cars! Think the 5 Turbo was fantastic in its time but not in 2011 sadly!

I always liked these but never owned one as I had heard all sorts of bad things about them, but I think they're one of the best sounding cars I've heard with a straight through exhaust the turbo whistle sounds amazing !

@lalagabor I know what you mean, I have a lancer evo but couldn't get it over my hart to sell the little 5, she's stil in my garage. It's also red but this one is gorgeous, what color red did gettostar123 paint it in?
