Hydrogen Cell #2 (Lawnmower run on Hydrogen)

Hello!

It have been long period that I haven't send anything, so now its time to show some proov that it is possible to run gasoline engines on hydrogen.

I did not modificate this lawnmower, I only removed filter which was on carburator and just put tube whit hydrogen in.

Here you see I create hydrogen by using easy method: Water+NaOH+Aluminium = Some gasses + Hydrogen

I was glad to see my lawnmower did run even 20 seconds whitout gasoline, just hydrogen and air.

So now I even know that I can power lawnmowers whit hydrogen. So I continue to make cells more efficency.

In this video you see small time running maybe 2-4 seconds at most. But still there was no gasoline in tank.

Hydrogen Cell mean cell, whitch is made to produce Hydrogen (H) and Oxygen (O) from water using electricity.

drill a hole in the back of the carb a put a pipe nipple on it so the butterfly valve can move

@vindennl48 chemical reaction. Potassium Hydroxide (KOH, Lye) water and aluminum = hydrogen, and a lot of heat, koh and water are dangerous

your hose blocked the movement of the butterfly valve in the carb. it was jammed at one throttle level. you may want to try modifying the air filter housing to attach the hose, and allow the natural vacuum of the intake suck in the fuel

I think its awesome what you are doing with hydrogen, however, two things... what is confusing the hell out of me is the fact that the first time you put the hose into the bubbler to show its producing hydrogen, on your way to set down the camera, the hose fell on the ground when you tried to put it into the carb. then when the camera is set down, magically the hose is already in the carb.

how does your fuel cell work when you dropped the plates in with out any electrical source connected

i am convinced this will run a lawn mower engine, but as with converting one to run on propane.. you can simply put a hose on your torch nozzle and poke it in the carb and start opening the valve till you can start it.. and as i have found.. the higher combustable fuel.. the less air you need so i am wondering if you greatly restricted your air intake.. you might get a bit more of a run on it
