  • Hey Hallaran, I've been subscribed for a while & I love your videos. I just wanted to let you know that most cameras have what's called a "Macro" feature. If you push the button or choose the setting that looks like a little picture of a flower it changes the focus of the camera so that it will take crystal clear video of close up items. If you can find out how to use the Macro setting on your camera your close-up shots will be crystal clear. Just figured I'd help. Keep up the videos! Great work

  • @PlatinumRacing I think learn probably more then I teach on YT I think. I have to say "Duh" and thank you for showing me that feature, (which is on my Canon A620). But that is one of the great things about YT, nobody knows it all and we all learn from each other as we go. Great stuff IMO. Thanks again

  • Nice old engine. It would be cool if it ran.

  • @edzgarage Someday soon, (I hope).

  • that has to be used on a washing machine, for that type of a year

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf I think they had a lot of use on washing machines...

  • Hey buddy! Subbed ya since I see you're into these older Briggs engines. Have you gotten this old Y running yet? I have a kick start with the separate gas tank and correct suction carb. I have a vid of it on here somewhere in my mess of videos. Cheers!! Zippo

  • @Hallaran In my opinion it's a model H with a model Y shroud on it.

  • @onsrud77 The tag has a Y stamped on it. I do think the carb is wrong...

  • @SmallEngineMechanic Looks like it had other engine parts put on it? I know my other model Y has a different carb, (or mixer on it) and no gas tank. I will put a video of that engine up later.

    Thanks

  • @douro20 Yeah it is going to take a iot of blasting!

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf Yes it seems like they sold a bunch of them back then...
