My my the clock in the sky is pounding away
theres so much to say
A face a voice an overdub has no choice
an image cannot rejoice
wanting to be, to hear and to see crying to the sky
but the porpoise is laughing good bye good bye

Cliques claques riding the backs of giraffes for laughs alright for a while
the ego sings of castles and kings and things that go with a life of style
wanting to feel, to know what is real, living is a lie..

  • Great rendition. it has this calmness but retains the epicness(cant bleive i used this word for a monkees song). good job , dude

  • Do you know if Rhino is gonna do a special edition for the Head soundtrack as for the previous albums (2cds for Headquarters, Pisces, More, The Monkees)

great great band, tho I think only Davy does live shows these days. And Peter has cancer and even blogs about it!
