@tritonrocks oh hey...ive been in boats coming up on 30 years...even had my CG 100 ton captains liscence. i think at one point i was on the water 280-300 days a year as a professional instructor. i was just teasing you...but im sure the japanese can gather masses of info on their own. this whole ordeal is a mixed bag. SS is maybe to agressive but at times it might be all they got. frustration will set in after watching a whale get harpooned im sure.

@healonator It helps when you have 20+ years of sea experience like I do, as well as extensive marine vessel training. The information the Sea Shepherd and the Bob Barker share in the Whale Wars video is ridiculous from a security standpoint. Please reply again; I look forward to it. START [ipcap]; IF reply=true THEN run[ipcap] send[ipcap 72.132.2.23] release END

@tritonrocks oh wait...i found a transelated quote from Japan "thank god for tritonrocks, he is able to watch the same show we watch, but he is sooo smart and able to figure out insight about how we can fight off the Sea Shepard. all from a show. amazing. our whalers who experience it first hand cant even provide us the info tritonrocks does. simply amazing. thank you tritonrocks, youve been very helpful" wow...im sorry....you must be very smart. to have same info but better insight. WOW

@tritonrocks no we dont breed deer rabbit or any of those things, but its also a known fact that the breeding cycle for all those animals is quicker than any whale....for every rabbit that is shot, 10 are reproduced. probably more. the same cant be said for whales. a hunter may go get 1 or 2 deer a season. they arent killing 1000 and calling it research. and you saying you help japan from watching the shows and giving them info is BS...are they unable to watch and comprehend the show?
-
@healonator Uh - do we breed deer? Do we breed rabbit (game rabbit, that is)? Do we breed walleye, or perch, or salmon? What's that you say - we cast nets (or shots, for crab - ever watch Deadliest Catch?) and pull them out of the water? How is that different than harpooning whale? Sure as hell sounds like a double standard to me. That's why I keep reporting to the Japanese tactical information I glean from the Whale Wars show. And they have found it to be very helpful.

@tritonrocks besides...how can you compare an animal that is breed to be our food to something that is hunted to the point of extinction and was never breed for the purpose of food...we breed chicken pigs and cows....does japan breed whales? there is your difference. its not hypocritical. its commen sense. im also saying humanity isnt innocent. sadly many animals have been hunted to extinction by all sorts of ppl..african rhinos american buffalo...list is huge and its not just the USA

those japaneese basterds has to be killed

The problem is everyone's problem, and that of all future generations.
The japanese set out to kill Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Byrdes Whales, and Beaked Whales every year... with a quota of over a thousand in total. Look up the subsistence of ALL of these.
Overplundering will damage the ecosystem beyond repair

@sycophant01 That is true.
I wonder if the Sea Shepard crew eats meat. If they do, aren't they supporting the cruel methods of animal production? Next time they take a bite out of a chicken patty, they should think about how their chicken was treated. Most likely it wasn't very humanely.

@tritonrocks I seem to recall reading that all food prepared on baord Sea Shepherd vessels was vegetarian, if not vegan. Presumably not all crew are, but seems they at least eat that way while on the boats.
