Maybe it wasn't a tuba. During 'The Making Of Sergeant Pepper', Paul McCartney talks about Brian's use of BASS HARMONICAS on 'Pet Sounds'. Maybe he is using them here too....But you're right about Brian's creativity. It's astonishing. God only knows where we'd be without him. :)
