Turks only recognize the geography as "Kurdistan" (consisting of Diyarbekir and Musul vilayets) in the context of the Ottoman provincial system. However, the Turks never considered the region as a political landscape which is ruled by the Kurds. Historically, the Turkish state just shared some powers with the Kurdish feudal notables (aghas) in order to govern the region in an easy manner. So, it will be sustained in the future and the Kurds willy or nilly would be integrated into Turkey...
