Musical typing performance of a little piano piece my friend (beatfox) wrote in highschool.

Doesn't GarageBand have a similar option to use a standard keyboard as a musical keyboard?

You're right; most sequencers have a musical typing option. The one in GarageBand/Logic only gives 18 keys though, which wasn't enough for me to work with. And I still wouldn't be able to trigger the arpeggios the way I needed.

Something like this could be set up in Reaktor, though.

Holy cow. First of all, cool-looking keyboard. I collect keyboards as a hobby. Also, how the heck do you become coordinated enough to know which key goes to which beat--and make the beat sound good? My hat is off to you--this is truly elite. Nice, vid.

And I was quite good when I learned the Glasgow Love Theme from 'Love Actually' two handed version on my friend's macbook. But to be fair I did it quickly and wasn't used to the keyboard and I don't actually play piano.. So.. I still did a'ight..
