Do they drink tap water or should I get water from the river I live a.k.a the Ohio river.

@awscoleh i own 2 emperor's and a 20 gallon would be fine for a single one(bigger would make him happier) also make sure you have a bunch of hides and dark places. you could use a humidifier but its not needed. I use a water bottle and mist the thing multiple times a day and i keep up humidity because it help there molting process(makes them look cooler). and they love crickets and meal worms

@MrGrateful1000 ya i own two emperor's and they literally cuddle together. everytime i pull em out there laying on top of each other. so they are friendly but be careful because you must feed them correctly so no cannibalism happens and you also want to watch for any fights or anything.. (happens rarely for me) but when it does i will separate them. also you need a big enough cage with more hides so they because they love em! i have a 30 gallon. hope this helps :)

@oreowithmilk1 Well said, thank you :).
I coinsidently just recently stumbled on similar info regarding hydroton and as you mentioned, the use of the hydrophonic growing system is absollutely fascinating! Aparently people have been able to grow some nice Cephalotus Follicularis using this method, check our flytrap care.com from more info :). That's so cool your brother owns a Hydrophonic store wow! Get some hydroton off him! Incredibly usefull in natural terrarium setups! :)

I want to get a scorpion and am wondering where you got the coconut husk fiber and the long fiber dried spagnum moss. Please e mail me back

@cmanblck45 Hi there, you can get coconut husk/fiber at pretty much any pet store that carries reptile supplies. It is mostly sold in a compacted brick form that you place in a certain amount of water where it will expand and you can then use it. Sphagnum can be hard to find but the best place to look is at a good nursery that also specialises in indoor plants because people often use it for ochids and bromeliads, etc. If you don't find any the best thing to do is order it online Hope this helps
