but you dont realize that not everyone is saved, but the people who do need to be rescued and saved...this song is for them. i ask jesus to rescue me from sin everyday, even though he made the sacrifice many years ago, there are still many to be rescued..

The song is anything but stupid and you can take that from a former drug addict, criminal and just an all around lost person. At my time of desperation Jesus came to my rescue and saved me.
